PAWAG is a nonprofit organization founded by Lilani Evans  and was established on February 25, 2008.

PAWAG is also the first Philippine American Women's Association in Georgia.

Our general purpose is to celebrate the spirit of Philippine American community in Georgia, through the execution of charitable events and disbursements of proceeds to the needy.

We will help or provide assistance to battered/abused women and single mothers who struggle in life because of the effects of abuse.

We will provide assistance to those who are temporarily in need of help or to reach out to those who are less fortunate.

We will boost the spirit of those who are sick by sending notes and flowers, or by serenading grandmas and grandpas on their birthdays.

The association will conduct periodic fund raising activities such as yard sale, cook out, Christmas caroling for a specific purpose like natural disaster or calamity.

PAWAG volunteers/members are not limited to Philippine-Americans. We are pleased to welcome all women who believe in the goals and principles of our organization.

We will use collaboration as a tool. Whenever possible we will join forces with other organizations to pursue common goals. We have/had supported and collaborated with Galing Foundation by donating school supplies together with clothing.

We would like to invite you to become a member of PAWAG. We are calling all women to get involve, support what we believed in, promote our purpose and work together to succeed and accomplish our goals. Our PAWAG membership fee is $15.00 and $25.00 for family.

Let’s help and make this wonderful organization grow. Let us unite. Spread the news to your friends and families.
